ComMark Trust

The ComMark Trust aims to reduce poverty in the region by putting into practice the development approach known as 'making markets work for the poor', or MMW4P, which has become increasingly prominent within the international development community. In 2004, The Presidency, the ComMark Trust and TIPS hosted a workshop to assess and discuss the prospects of key sectors of the South African economy. To form the basis for each sector's discussion, a short 'think-piece' was commissioned from experienced sector specialists who presented their research at the workshop.
