Our team conducts comprehensive audits to identify areas for improvement and develops tailored intervention proposals.
Product Testing and Analysis: Our laboratory offers product testing and analysis services to clothing, textiles, and related industries. We conduct tests on colourfastness, fabric stability, tear strength, print durability, fabric mass, pH levels, yarn properties, water resistance, and more. Additionally, we provide advice on material usage, care, and fabric specification development.
Human Capital Development: We offer a range of short learning programs designed for clothing, textiles, and related industries. These programs are delivered by CPUT's Centre for Professional and Personal Development (CPPD) and are recognised by the Fibre Processing and Manufacturing Sector Education and Training Authority (FP&M SETA). Our programs cover various aspects of industry-specific knowledge, skills development, and in-house training options are available.
Product Development: Our team assists with technical drawings, pattern development using Gerber software, fit sample making, product assembly breakdowns, pattern grading, textile product development, and 3D body scanning. We provide comprehensive support throughout the product development lifecycle, helping businesses bring their designs to life.
